Where does Prickly Pear oil come from:

Prickly pear is a nutritious and edible cactus, which is grown in all parts of the world, especially in North Africa.   

Fun Fact: 

Although the prickly pear fruits contain around 150-300  seeds each on average, the seeds themselves are tiny and only contain about 5% oil.  It takes 1 ton of prickly pear fruits to produce only 1 liter of oil.  Prickly Pear Oil is the most expensive oil on the market.
